A voice of a southern drawl answers. “Hello I say Hello.” Snake thinks he has Colonel Sanders on the line. “Hi I am calling for Lord Fleckinstein.” “Well I would say you found him.” “Oh good, my name is Snake I was giving this number from a mutual friend who wishes to remain anonymous although he had provided me with some leads in clientele with the rarity market.” “I’m listening.” He says. Much like the advancement of space ships by alien technology the human territory had expanded to new dimensions of reality with the expanded elements discovered now being mined and the unlocking of it’s properties. As mankind grew into space and now maintained sovereignty from the over lords of aliens by cleverness and skill to have taken advantage of the technology shared in exchange for the aliens own establishments including a base in Antarctica and trading hubs off world.

The world has become extremely populated and that the wealth has never been more distributed unevenly. While the technology increased the more the ideas of the wealthy was focused in space expansion with the combined coalition of companies and donors. It had essentially took all that capital of generations of wealth into space leaving the rest of the world with nations of debt that was inconceivable in Earth bound payment.

Snake has been invited to meet with Lord Fleckinstein at his residence. This was agreed on from their previous call. He was to make the trip within the next five days to the coast. After driving countless hours through Central America to South America from Mudd’s home to his cottage he didn’t like the idea of driving really.  He was to schedule a flight to arrange a meeting. It would be about three and a half hours to the Eastern coast of Brazil.  After securing a flight ticket he was set to go for the following day after tomorrow. He was fine picking up the pace again.
Soon after landing he had hoped that he would make contact with Lord Fleckinstein in order to complete their arrangement. This time a woman answered on the phone. “Hello.” “Hi, this is Snake I have a business meeting to be arranged with Fleckinstein.” “Ah yes Snake I have been told to have a driver pick you up and bring you to the residence. My name is Claire and I will have a driver for you after this call to be provided for you with expenses paid as soon as I put in the call. I will have you meet at the car rental front desk. Can I get your last name?” “Cosmic, Snake Cosmic.” “Okay, they will have someone there for you.” 
The driver was a tan man with a black beard and had very strong cologne. The drive was peacefull with limited small talk and great scenery on the route being very scenic. Towards the coast there was an unmistakable image of a pyramid that of the shape of that of the great pyramid of giza in Egypt. This modern pyramid was larger in scale and held Lord Fleckinstein residence and offices along with the building containing residential levels and businesses that had restaurants, bars, a theater, water parks, clubs, and grocery stores. It was a self contained building with all necessities and luxury. It was composed in the pyramid shape of a structural engineering of a massive parking garage of concrete and pillars throughout the levels and steel frame skeleton with tempered  glass exterior. It was amazing that the was a tunnel connecting to the pyramids underground parking garage. After making it into the complex and security checks that Claire had provided the driver with clearance they have arrived in the parking garage by the center elevators where Snake was dropped off. From the massive directory and several working elevators Snake remembered the number 237 as registered to the Annuit Coeptis Industries.

Snake had entered the office floor of Lord Fleckinstein fairly high up the pyramid. After walking forward from the center column of elevator he went straight to the next glass doors  that had halls on either side. The door was number 237 . Once in he had walked past a small  lobby area waiting room with  furniture of chairs and coffee tables to the desk receptionist. “Hi my name is Snake and I was transported from the air port by car today by Claire to meet with Lord Fleckinstein,” Snake said. The woman at the desk nodded and pressed button and yspoke. “Mr. Snake is here.” She looked back at Snake and said, “Claire is on her way now.” Within a short while a tall woman with red hair came through doors from behind the desk from another thick glass door. She walked up to Snake just as he was just sitting and he stood up. “Hello,” she said. “You must be Snake.” “Yes, and you must be Claire.” They shook hands. “Follow me,” she said. “I wanted to show you around and tell you about what Lord Fleckinstein has been doing here.” They walked out further from the center of the building towards the large glass windows looking out to the Atlantic Ocean going through a large room of cubicles into a empty conference room.” I was told a little of your conversation with Fleckinstein and what he was hoping to have you accomplish with your background and expertise. He was surprised that you had a very personal contact number to him directly that very few would have.  He decided to keep that number still but it only connects to me from now on. He feels that having that kind of access to him has to be limited you understand.” “I have had the experience keeping clients secrets in the past and the access to them being limited as just part of the game. I understand.” Snake said. “He is willing to meet I must first get you to agree that your business dealings are confidential between that of his public business and his private collections works. That he has the business here to establish connections and operations around the world, but as far as your concerns you would be working for his private collections that he does want to remain private.
Mudd had decided to make a call he would have preferred to mind his own business but he had a feeling things were starting back up again. He gets on the phone and calls Genie Snake’s estranged wife. The call goes to her voice mail. “Hi Genie this is Mudd, I know it’s been a long time, but I had met Snake last year and he and I tried to catch up on old times like how things use to be between us, like you know how we all were. Anyway call me back at this number bye.” While Mudd had settled in Costa Rica he had recalled that Genie was living in Panama. The day Snake called up to meet with Mudd after the cross continental car trip was alarming. He had what had to of been a nightmare of logistics even for him. Having planed his routes and cargo shipping from Columbia to Panama and cover all that ground. He had a lot of time to himself on the road and had made the spirit quest listening to the radio and audio books and doing what ever business along the way. He said to him “mothers raise their sons as witches to kill their fathers.” He had a bunch of money he made after selling the ship. He only stayed for three or four days before he left to drive back. The little time they had together Mudd was very proud of the trees he was growing having fused botany with his energy crystal work in culminating in his prize solarium room and apple tree that had grown with a jade crystal placed into a wedge driven into center of the tree and grafting the tree with the crystal. The split was done by a hatchet and the tree grew a big knot healing around the Jade crystal. He had shown Snake his work and was being lead by his Crystals to heal when possible, but also to store the religion of I’m not the kind of person person I want to be and the self-satisfied type. These were stages of healing he had recorded.  The way in which Mudd had his way of controling everything in terms of his mood had been problematic. Snake was on his old I am chaos and disorder thing and wanting to have his work be that of navigating the people involved to get together and scatter. Finding the push and pull and sentencing of books being a soul contract and future being sold out to the masses. Some version of his religious function if people were to read, think, and find themselves. At the end of it they had the feeling of thanks for nothing. The endurance was the exertion of the sides they had wanted to explore barely more then they should have. Snake and Mudd had tried to allow themselves to explore a world of possibilities for themselves.

Back to the Annuit Coeptis Industries Snake has been discussing the ever more increasing occult knowledge of artifacts and collections with Claire for going on a better part of a hour. She was gaging his responses and increasing the stakes slowly and seeing how he would react. “You telling me that you have done some fishing in the ocean and that has been of a particular interest,” she said. He nods. “I have something you might find interesting.” She says and leads him through a card key door up some stairs  of a small stair well where she useds the card again on another card key access door. There they entered a museum room of some of lord Fleckinstein’s collection. There was glass cases of many things including canopic jars and coins and on the walls more Egyptian artifacts of an crook heka and flail nekhakha. In the middle of the room was the shark fin. This must hold some purpose of dorsal fin of a great white shark, Snake thinks. She lead him to the shark fin to see his reaction. “A great white?” “Yes,” she responded. “Not many of these around anymore.” The bones were set in a clear epoxy. It seemed to be surrounded with talismanic black metal plates with inscriptions on them.
Through a door opposite the room a man in a all white suit with a mustache and long soul patch of white hair wearing a black and blue bolo tie walks their direction. He walks with a gold cane with a top of a cobra. Snake remains quiet as he approaches. In a southern American accent he says, “how do you do this lovely evening.” Snake reaches out to shake hands. “just fine.” Nice to meet you Snake.” “And you Lord Fleckinstein I presume.” You are correct. I hope the trip went fine.”  “Yes it did.” The evening went on where Snake was then offered to go with lord Fleckinstein to a lounge room near by to get to business. The way Fleckinstein liked doing business was only if he decided he liked the person socially. He insisted on drinks being called in from the bar area on the side of the lounge. Now that a tray was brought in with bourbon bottle two wide glasses with ice he poured his and looked at Snake. The plan Snake did not plan for. “Sure.” He then poured little bourbon into Snakes glass. “Then how did you get my number he said.” “Well Jesus Christ it’s like telling someone their dead. They don’t like It. You can understand. Maybe if you bring out the Cubans we could talk about the way things can go well together.” “Yes, you can tell that there is some more smoke that you can hide behind here.” Fleckinstein waves in the woman from the bar. “It seems our friend here prefers his bourbon with a cigar.” “Yes, a candela the green wrapped kind if you have it.” She brings another tray with a glass ash tray a lighter and the green wrapped cigar in it’s plastic wrapping. Snake fumbles with getting the plastic peeled off then lights the cigar while Fleckinstein observes quietly. “Like I said you have to understand I can’t give you the codes. You have yours and I have mine. You me use them it is only a game. I’ve been lucky enough to be able to be here in hopes of an mutual benificial relationship.” “The fact we are meeting now was because Claire decided to take you in the museum room. A small part of my collections. Indicating she had deemed you worthy to give you a pass.” “I realize she was sorting me out, giving me your smell test, sniffing me out as it were deeming if I was worthy, as you put it to be able to see some of your inner workings is impressive with what you have set up here.” “I say I say, very astute. I am the big fish and you are the fisherman. The way I see it is that you went far out there and came back. Did you burn through all of your friends leaving you back here on Earth again?” “touche, I had lost a lot and had to start all over. The way of navigating the bardo from such consciousness of the the “there after” as such of the “after life” it gets called out there.” “I can see you are a man who knows a lot and that you have skills and know what we do here.” “From the days of putting a diamond ring on, a piece of the ground and how they just had their way in front of God and the world and the words of a priest.” “How could you Snake sir,” Fleckinstein chuckles while petting his cobra cane with red glowing ruby eyes. “It all starts to make more sense from the trade stand point. That we all eventually get into the work of sales.” “So then you have a Mrs. Snake I’d venture to guess.” “Yes of course that was a script in my life, although it becomes a lie do to conflict of interest. I still love her we just don’t speak to each other anymore.” “A poor script huh, I do declare I am sorry for you.”
The arrangements have been made. Mudd has been informed as to Snake‘s obsession with finding more work. A ritual was to be performed in involving lord Fleckinstein himself. Snake was tasked as the practitioner while lord Fleckinstein was to be the host. After consulting with Mudd they were to meet with him in his building rather than bring him to the pyramid. “Well then your friend has the components to the dark dimension that you assure me has what we need for me in our task,” Fleckinstein asks Snake. “He sure does and has the building to himself. I’m sure ruffing it in his apartment won’t be too much for you I hope.” “I am also sure that he knows I am your big fish in his small pond.” The two of them and Claire prepare to board a private jet to Costa Rica. On board the jet they have by now had invested days of planning and plenty of accouterments in the process including Fleckinsteins ceremonial dagger and vial of Snake venom he has packed in a suitcase. Snake has to navigate the storm they are going to walk in. “This goes well my team gets paid what you have agreed on and everybody is happy.” “Of course you are entitled to your payment, he says. Lord Fleckinstein has all the money in the world and of course he still wants more. Snake has the balance of some of each world and it’s power, but the need for capital to keep going was his predicament. The plane has landed and the ride service has been made for the last leg of the trip. The night has started with purple skies a glowing thunder in the clouds. “The air here has such a thick palpable richness, lord Fleckinstein comments.” “Always be careful of the water it can make you sick if it isn’t clean in all places,” Snake says. The driver arrives at a two-story repair building on a corner with two big garage doors on ground level. One of the garage doors open and there Mudd is smoking a cigarette. Snake waves and approaches first with Claire and Fleckinstein behind him. He hugs Mudd “young man,” he says.”You old dirty bastard” he replies. “These are the people I was telling you about.” Fleckinstein reaches to shake Mudd’s hand. “Nice to meet you.” “Claire then says,”Let’s get real gentlemen and down to business.” “The waning crescent moon is in its phase before the new moon and should be plenty full Mudd says. Follow me up stairs.” In the open studio is a tree set up as the center focus and a room that acts as a solarium  with big windows and a sky lights of a glass inclosure encased on the roof above the tree. “You have what you need and the prism is here that can bring out the dark dimension in the shadow of this tree from the moon light.” Mudd opens a cigar box and places the glass prism with it’s black and red crystal encased in it to the space prepared with three candles on the equilateral triangle that has been drawn with paint on a mate. He begins to pour a circle of salt around the triangle then lights the candles. He steps back. Then Snake with his ability to conjure begins. He begins speaking some of the ritual to the effect of flickering candles. The trance of the room begins to fall under his spell… “Those who are here under the stars those who here are those who have souls those who here are existing are those who are here, here I call the  useless one use me and come forth from the shadow of the tree. The winds outside begin to whip up outside and the crystal in the prism starts to glow like a candle and then the three candles surrounding it suddenly go out as the crystal begins to glow brighter like a flame. A darkness  covers the room. A figure emerges in the salt circle in shadowy form. Snake snarls “shambola.” The entity presses from the salt circle into the air with fingers like smoke tendril tentacles. “Hurry,” Snake says to Fleckinstein. He pulls his dagger from his suitcase and drips the snake venom on the blade. He then walks towards the tree. A voice in the room says, “what’s your purpose here what you hope to gain.” Fleckinstein declares your power.” He then thrusts the blade into the shadow and the prism begins to discharge smoke from two sides of the prism and the dagger then became the repository for the two planes of smoke into the dagger increasing its terrifying power. Then the crystal started to fade and became cracked inside the glass prism. The success had left Lord Fleckinstein shaking and sweating full of adrenaline.
